Participio is an independent, non-profit research consultancy in Vilnius. We work on participatory research and community engagement: we join consortia as a partner, organise events for European projects, and publish what we learn so that others in Lithuania can use it.

What we bring to a consortium
1Community engagement and citizen scienceFor consortia in development
We lead or contribute to the work packages on engagement, co-creation and citizen science, and on communication and dissemination.
What you get: A partner that takes on these tasks and their deliverables, including the evaluation of participatory processes. This is our role in RESCUE (Horizon Europe, 2027-2029).
2SSH integration and co-creation designFor coordinators of STEM-led consortia
We design the social sciences, humanities and participation side of your work plan, so it carries real tasks, not a paragraph.
What you get: We work on your own work plan: which work package the SSH partner leads, how co-creation and citizen science tasks become deliverables and indicators, and how this reads in Part B.
3Proposal review and mock evaluationFor coordinators and partners with a draft
Comments on your draft and scores against the published evaluation criteria, before the real evaluators see it.
What you get: We read your draft more than once, as it develops. You get written comments and scores per criterion in the format of an evaluation summary report.
4Training for research offices and teamsFor research offices, institutes and consortia
Group sessions in Lithuanian or English where participants work on their own proposals.
What you get: Sessions on participation, SSH integration and the impact section, built around the drafts people bring.
